Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you book and attend a face-to-face appointment at The Florence Clinic Didsbury.

About us

The Florence Clinic Didsbury is operated by Kiag Medical Limited, the registered owner of the pharmacy, at Ground Floor, 3 Elm Grove, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6PL. Our superintendent pharmacist is Kamber Hussain. By booking an appointment you agree to these terms.

Our services

We provide a weight management clinic and a travel health clinic. All consultations take place face to face at the clinic with a prescribing pharmacist. We do not offer video, remote or online consultations, and we do not supply medicines by post.

Booking appointments

  • Appointments are booked through the booking calendar on our website. Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a treatment will be supplied.
  • Please give accurate details when booking and arrive on time. If you arrive late we may need to shorten or rebook your appointment.
  • You must be 18 or over to book for yourself. A parent or guardian should book and attend with anyone under 18 where the service is suitable for them.

Changing or cancelling

If you need to change or cancel, please use the link in your booking confirmation or email us at info@theflorenceclinic.co.uk as early as possible so the time can be offered to another patient.

Clinical assessment

  • Every treatment is subject to a consultation and clinical assessment by our pharmacist. The pharmacist may decide a treatment is not suitable for you and may refer you to your GP or another service.
  • You must give complete and honest information about your health, medical history and current medicines. Withholding information may put your health at risk.
  • Weight management treatments require ongoing monitoring, and follow-up reviews form part of safe care.
  • Travel vaccinations and antimalarials should ideally be arranged several weeks before you travel. We cannot guarantee that every vaccine will be available or suitable at short notice.

Fees and payment

Our fees are published on the relevant service pages of this website. Payment is taken in person at the clinic at your appointment. We do not take payments or deposits online. Fees may change, and the fee that applies is the one in place on the day of your appointment.

Your information

We handle your personal and health information as described in our Privacy and Cookies page.

Our responsibilities

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, in line with the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.

Concerns and complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please see our Feedback and Complaints page.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies at the time of your booking. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
