How The Florence Clinic Didsbury handles your information and uses cookies.
Privacy statement
Who we are
The Florence Clinic Didsbury is operated by Kiag Medical Limited, the registered owner of the pharmacy. Our address is Ground Floor, 3 Elm Grove, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 6PL. You can contact us about your information at info@theflorenceclinic.co.uk.
What information we collect
- Your name, contact details and appointment preferences when you book an appointment.
- Information you share in consultation, including your medical history, current medicines and your goals, so we can assess whether a treatment is suitable for you.
- Records of any medicines supplied to you and the advice we gave, which we must keep as part of our professional pharmacy records.
- Messages you send us, such as emails about bookings or your care.
We do not collect payments through this website. You pay for your appointment and any treatment in person at the clinic.
How we use your information
- To arrange and manage your appointments.
- To provide face to face consultations and, where appropriate, to supply treatment safely.
- To keep the clinical and pharmacy records the law requires us to keep.
- To respond to your questions, feedback and complaints.
Our legal bases
We use your information because it is necessary for the care we provide to you and to meet our legal obligations as a registered pharmacy. Where we rely on consent, for example for optional communications, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.
Who we share information with
- Our appointment booking provider, which stores your name, email address and appointment details so your booking can be made and confirmed.
- Service providers who help us run the clinic, such as those who host our email and website, under agreements that protect your information.
- Regulators, the NHS or law enforcement where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to keep you or others safe.
We never sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing without asking you first.
How long we keep it
We keep clinical and pharmacy records for the periods required by pharmacy and professional record keeping standards. Booking and correspondence records are kept only as long as we need them for your care, our legal obligations or to handle complaints.
Keeping your information safe
Access to your records is limited to the team members who need it to provide your care. Paper records are kept securely on the premises and electronic records are protected with access controls.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@theflorenceclinic.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.
